I have a soft spot for Converse All Stars, especially when they are brought back to life with real glamor by Gienchi.
So for my 100th post, I celebrate this young designer from Milan who has established a strong cult following; he creates objects of beauty by applying studs, paillettes and sequins onto Converse sneakers.
The must-have shoes are the studded All Star low, for this season.
We all know good design is timeless, and that’s what you get with great Italian shoes.
